A collection of smart shortcuts and power-user features that help you move through Flokan faster. These are small things that make a big difference once you know them.

Quick Board Switcher (B)

Press B anywhere in Flokan to open the quick board switcher. Start typing a board name and jump straight to it — no clicking through the sidebar, no navigating back to the boards grid.

How to use it:

1. Press B on your keyboard from anywhere in the app
2. Start typing part of the board's name
3. Use the arrow keys to highlight a result, or click it
4. Press Enter to open the board

This is the fastest way to move between boards when you're working across multiple projects at once. It's especially useful if you have a lot of boards in your workspace and scrolling the sidebar slows you down.

Bulk Card Paste

When you have a list of ideas, topics, or video titles somewhere else — a Google Doc, a Notion page, a Slack message, a plain text file — you don't have to create cards one by one. Flokan detects when you paste multi-line content into a board and offers to create a card for each line.

How it works:

1. Copy a bullet point list or any multi-line text from another app. For example:

   - How to record a podcast at home
   - Best microphones under $200
   - Editing tips for YouTube beginners
   - Lighting setups for small studios
2. Open the board where you want the cards to land
3. Start adding a new card in the target list and paste (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V) into the card title field
4. Flokan recognizes the multi-line paste and asks whether you want to create one card per line
5. Confirm, and every line becomes its own card in the list — in order, ready to work with

What gets cleaned up automatically:

• Leading bullet characters (-, *, •), numbered list markers (1., 2)), and extra whitespace are stripped from each line
• Empty lines are skipped
• Each remaining line becomes the title of a new card

This turns brainstorms, meeting notes, and content plans into a working board in seconds. Combine it with the B shortcut above to go from "I have a list of 20 video ideas in a doc" to "I have 20 cards on the right board" in under a minute.
